Basilica Holiday Resort

We arrived at the hotel at night and check-in was still open. Of course we informed the staff in advance. The staff was very helpful and nice. The location of the hotel is perfect and everything is close by. The Tomb of the Kings - the bus station where all the buses go - is a short walk away or you can use bus number 611. There are many restaurants in this area.Room was nice, not one-on-one in the picture, but with similar values. The hotel area is large and there are many options. Fantastic vacation. Wonderful people . I want to go back. :)

Location was excellent for us. Pool was very good. Price was really good for 3. Restaurant was good value.

We booked last minute at this Venue and were met by the friendliest frontline receptionist, Christella, who explained things and showed us to our room. We slept incredibly comfortably and had coffee provided for the morning. The bedding and towels were clean and smelt good. There was no aircon, but the fan worked perfectly. We slept with the door slightly ajar onto the patio and it was perfect. We were met with a beautiful morning sunrise and view of the rooms right outside our balcony area. Just fabulous!!! Thank you, Christella for your friendliness and making us feel so welcome.

This review is fully dedicated to the staff of this Holiday Resort. Starting from the pre-stay experience with Maria, kindly organizing all according to my family's requests and followed by very welcoming restaurant staff: breakfast chef Katerina, who also made an incredible deserts for the dinner, kind bartenders Mr. Panayiotis and Lucian, friendly waiter Peter, as well as helpful and hardworking maids - they all did our stay pleasant, comfortable and easy. I am sure staff is a gem of this place and management should be happy to have them :) I also saw and spoke to the guests who stay long and coming back to this place - as for me - this is the best index. Pool is great: spacious, different depths and refreshing; also clean and looks maintained. Food for breakfast and dinner was various and always something new on the plate. We had a half-board and were very pleased by menu.

Breakfast plentiful and fresh, location is brilliant for buses to beaches, town centre, bars, restaurants. Nice sized swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds to go around. We were travelling as a group of 4 and booked a one bed apt, we was pleasantly surprised by the free upgrade to a 2 bed apt, room was huge. Don't be put off from the reviews, first impression of the building wasn't great but once we'd seen our room we were happy to see a newly mod room
